In an ever changing market that network of relationships and pursuit of higher education to stay abreast in this field is so important.  Those relationships extend to those built with our clientele as well as our vendor business relationships that we’ve establish that allow the leveraging of marketing, photography, staging and inspection services, mortgage broker relationships, as well as market analytics available to our clients.  Having those readily available are just some of the benefits that provide a client oriented service experience geared to maximize their equitable stake in todays real estate market.

Cartwright Realty continues to service coastal North Carolina.  In addition to this Marissa also launched Staged to Sell Inc as a creative staging and redesign company.  Staged to Sell Inc, has been recognized by the International Association of Home Staging Professionals as an Award Winning Staging Company in the categories of Best Vacant and Best Occupied Staging. Servicing builders, investors and sellers as well as other Realtors to maximize proceeds on the sale of real property.

The spark behind these companies came after the life changing circumstance when Marissa’s husband, Charlies I Cartwright was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2009 while serving with Marine Special Operations Command in 1st MARSOC Alpha company.  This propelled Marissa out of the financial sector where she had been a registered representative investment advisor into a career in real estate.  Her philosophy is that life is too short to not be present in each moment doing what you are most passionate about.  In her case this is creating opportunities that bring others together and support our local community, mentoring clientele and other Real Estate professionals, and creating design worthy staging projects that create a visible return on investment.  Most importantly it is also being present in the lives of her three children to show them what perseverance and integrity looks like in every day life and how to unlock their own creativity and passions, creating a thriving environment for them to grow into insightful, empathic and amazing human beings.

Marissa C Cartwright graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a double major in Psychology and Economics and a minor in Chinese.  She is a Certified Master Negotiations Expert, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist™, Member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing™, Pricing Strategy Advisor, Broker-in-Charge of Cartwright Realty LLC, Member of the National Association of Realtors®, CEO Owner and Operator of the Award Winning Staged to Sell Inc. with professional accreditations for the following; Accredited Staging Professional®, Buyer Trend Specialist, Certified Luxury Staging Specialist, Investor Staging Consultant, Member of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals.

Marissa is a Gold Star Spouse of Charles I Cartwright KIA and is a proud supporter of the Raider Community in honor of his memory, as well as a member of the local Wilmington Veterans Business Collective. Marissa received her 4th Dan Black Belt and is an International Certified Master Coach with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.
